Ed Stafford is doing well.  Today he has crossed the Jutai in his own raft.  To date his guides can now use a compass and walk upfront without correction.  He has had his spare hammocks stolen by village dwellers but he is grateful for his latest delivery of peanuts and multi-vitamins.  He has been walking for 504 days.
