Two Men, One Year, One Extreme Challenge
Adventurers Ed Stafford and Luke Collyer are attempting to be the first people ever to walk from the source of the Amazon River in Southern Peru to its mouth, 4000 miles away on the other side of the continent in Brazil.
This incredible journey will take one year to complete. During this time Ed and Luke will travel across the toughest and most threatened eco-system left on earth completely unsupported and alone; so isolated that for some stretches they will be three weeks trek from the nearest person.
The pair will carry everything they need on their backs: Medical kits, hunting gear and survival equipment. But most importantly, they’ll have one key item that was missing from all of those great exploratory journeys of the past…a video camera. And Ed and Luke will be capturing each gripping moment as it unfurls.
